The Avoca Hose Company received a donation of smoke alarms recently and the alarms will be free to Avoca residents. The alarms can be picked up at the Borough Building (950 Main Street) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm. There are a limited number of alarms available and they will be distributed until they are gone.
